Amanda has given me hope! With age and injuries I was seeking strength, balance, and a stronger core to support me. She is providing all of that with calm, positive, slow building lessons that include mindfulness and self care. I feel like I have a wise friend on my journey to better health and better ME. She’s simply magnificent!

Amanda’s knowledge of body mechanics has made such an improvement in my body’s strength, gait, flexibility, pain relief and overall wellbeing. I’ve learned and benefited more in my last few months with her than in the last 8 years of taking traditional classes. She is outstanding in her field and I highly recommend!

After back surgery I felt pretty weak and helpless. At 30, I felt like I didn’t know my body anymore. Thank goodness was for Amanda. She has completely changed my life. She’s systematically increased my strength and made me feel empowered the whole time. When I started, I felt pretty hopeless, and now I have hope. Thank you Amanda!

I really look forward to my classes at Anchor to Life. Amanda is a good listener and works at my level to challenge me and build my strength, balance and flexibility, using her wealth of knowledge in Pilates and the anatomy.

I've been seeing Amanda for about last 5 months and it's been nothing short of incredible. I went to Amanda after feeling helpless with minor (but bothersome) pain from a mild herniated disc in my lower back that I had been dealing with for 6+ months prior. I tried PT for a few months with no major change. My doctor suggested Pilates to help build my core and ease my pain but warned me against Pilates classes since they can be too generic and not tailored to someone who had an injury.
Amanda is extremely knowledgeable not only in Pilates but how the body moves and functions. My sessions with her feels tailored to my specific needs and goals. Exercise shouldn't be a one size fits all and she definitely makes sure that she listens to what I need and never pushes me too hard.
I'm happy to say that my pain has gotten so much better and I feel so much more confident that I can make a full recovery than I felt before I visited Amanda. - Hamsa Wadi··from Google
